Cape Town's only dedicated dark alternative club, Gotham is situated at 299 Lower Main Rd in Observatory. The club is open Fridays and Saturdays from 21h00. Cover is R10 on normal nights and usually R20 after 23h00 when Gotham hosts one of its legendary theme party nights. Resident and guest DJs play a wide range of Goth, Darkwave, Deathrock, Post-punk, EBM, Industrial, Synthpop / Futurepop, Eighties, Gothic Metal, Industrial Metal and anything else they feel like – a music variety you won’t easily found at any other place in Cape Town.
