I’ve just registered on TopClubs.co.za– now what?
Go to “MY PROFILE” then “MY DETAILS” and start creating your profile. Upload a profile pic, fill in as much info that you want to share (remember don’t give any personal details that you do not want to share with strangers and no direct contact details - NO telephone numbers; surnames or addresses. Then vote for your favourite club, start planning a night out at a new venue and connect with like-minded clubbers on the forum.
What is a profile picture?
A profile picture is the pic that other members will see when they come across your profile.
Can I change my username?
No, for various reasons we do not allow you to change your username once you have created a profile. Should you desperately want a different username you will need to de-register your existing profile and create a new profile. If you need help, contact administrator@topclubs.co.za
How do I change my settings?
Go to “MY PROFILE” then “MY DETAILS”. This will take you to a page where you can edit your settings.
I want to report a member of TopClubs.co.za - what must I do?
My email verification code has not come through yet, what now?
Go to your profile page and check that your email address is correct, then resend. If you still haven’t received the code, check your email spam folder. If the problem persists contact us at administrator@topclubs.co.za with your username and email.
What if my favourite club is not on the list?
Go to the “VOTE” page and type in the name of the club. Try and get the spelling as close to correct as possible. Or contact administrator@topclubs.co.za with the name of the club and the suburb where it is located.
What is the quickest way to vote for my favourite nightclub?
SMS the name of your club and the suburb where it is located to 35077 – simple as that! Remember, each SMS costs R3.
How many times may I vote for my favourite club?
If you are voting online (i.e. via the web site) you only get 1 vote per day. This is to avoid mass voting that may skew the results. If you’re voting online there is no charge - obviously!
If you are voting via SMS – you may vote as many times as you like but remember each SMS costs R3. Each time you vote you will be entered into the competition draw.

Why not? No seriously, by voting for and rating your favourite nightclubs you become an active part of the nightclubbing scene. You help keep the information accurate and up-to-date. TopClubs.co.za will list the hottest nightclubs in South Africa according to what they offer and give you the chance to find new places to visit. You are in complete control of what and how much information you want others to see. Your details will never be given to anyone else unless you specifically agree. See “PRIVACY” for more information.
How do I block someone?
You can prevent anyone from messaging you by going to “MESSAGES” then “IGNORE LIST” then clicking on “ADD USER TO IGNORE LIST”. Enter the person’s username and this person won’t be able to contact you any longer.
